Learning Her Story: fully funded educational program

Learning Her Story is a fully funded educational program created for International Day of the Girl that provides interactive lesson plans on girls’ rights and human rights to educators around the world. 10 minute and 1 hour lesson plans are available for educators to use in classrooms with students of a variety of ages and on several topics.

The International Day of the Girl Child has been celebrated on October 11th since the United Nations officially recognized it in 2012. This year, The Human Projects will mark the occasion through an educational program focusing on human rights issues that are especially relevant to girls around the world. Through interactive lesson plans, students will understand the history of girls’ rights under the broader umbrella of human rights as a whole and become more understanding of gender inequality as a whole.
